Ordinary Diploma in Hospitality Management (NTA 4-6)
Duration: Three (03) years
This is a three year programme designed to prepare learners for the role of hotel departmental supervisors or managers by equipping them with various operational and managerial skills, but not limited to food and beverage, room’s division, Food production and customer service within a hotel organization. In addition, the learner is exposed to at least one foreign language to enable them operate in the global Hospitality Industry which is multilingual.
The program entails both practical and theoretical training coupled with industrial attachment in hotels, airports, resorts, and other appropriate organizations.
Graduates of this programme who wish to further their studies can acquire qualification to join Bachelor degree in various Universities.
- Holders of certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) with four (4) passes in non-religious subjects. OR
- Holders of Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) in Hospitality Operations, Culinary Art, Hotel Management, Food and Beverage Services and Sales, Event Management With 2.0 GPA and above OR
- Holders of Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least one principal pass and one subsidiary.
